Celebrity Readers

We are always looking for "Celebrity Readers" to come in and share the joy of reading with us. The definition of "celebrity" here in my first grade class is people we know:) First graders love a good story and they also love when someone they know comes to their classroom to read. Grandmas, grandpas, aunts, uncles, moms, dads, or maybe a special visitor from out of town can come with a great book and read to us. If you or anyone you know has an interest in coming in to read all you need to do is let me know a day and time that works for you and we will do our best to work around your visit.

Here is the closest I've come to true "celebrity" coming to my classroom This is Greg Gasper and he is one of the conductors for The Polar Express at the Green Bay Railroad Museum. I've been lucky enough to have him visit my classroom twice since he is the cousin of two former students-Katelynn and Kirsten Kretschmer.
